ICS 1st graders in Ms. Stawski & Ms. Hirt's classes had a lot of fun viewing the Live Exhibit: "Survival of the Slowest" at the Milwaukee Public Museum. They saw a sloth, tortoise and various types of lizards, turtles and snakes! It was a fun learning adventure! #ICSEagles

ICS 7th & 8th graders wanted an environmental art activism day and they got one! They also got dirty (and wet), but they had a great time honoring Mother Earth and creating works of art. They created messages about consumer choices and caretaking. We are so proud! #ICSEagles

April is National Poetry Month! ICS middle school students have been reading, writing, and performing poetry. In Makerspace, students enjoyed a variety of poetry-writing workshops that sparked their imaginations and ignited a love and appreciation of the genre. #ICSEagles

ICS 1st graders are so smart! They know that water is life and it's medicine too! Ms. Siobhan shared water teachings, including honoring the water each morning, how they can put love & life back into bottled water, plus they helped with a water ceremony by the ponds. #ICSEagles
