ICS Middle School is participating in a Kindness Challenge! Students can show kindness to themselves, others or the Earth by attempting any of the challenges posted to the board. Howah/Kāēqten-āēq?/Howaa/ótshe/Wow! Nice job students! #ICSEagles

ICS Family Resource Center held a Craft Circle workshop for our families to learn how to sew and make ribbon skirts if interested. Lots of tips and tricks were learned, and plentiful gorgeous skirts were created! #ICSEagles





ICS K5 students were visited by Laureanna Raymond-Duvernell, author of "Under the Mud". Ms. Laureanna did a read-aloud of her story and even passed around her friendly painted turtle for our K5 students to touch and learn more about these beautiful creatures! #ICSEagles


ICS Middle School holds an incentive celebration for students who demonstrate both academic and behavioral excellence. This month's incentive was to go to the Root River Bowling Alley. Students had an awesome time bowling, dancing and playing games! #ICSEagles

On Feb. 3rd, ICS hosted an MLFA Forensics meet for the first time. 16 schools and over two hundred students, coaches, parents, judges & volunteers made this inaugural event a soaring success! Congrats to our Forensics Team who earned 9 blue ribbons and 4 medals! #ICSEagles


The ICS 4th Gr. is always doing something fun! Earlier in the month, students earned a sledding incentive because they had exceptional improvements in their MAP Growth winter scores for standardized testing. Fantastic job, students! #ICSEagles


ICS 3rd Graders went to First Stage to see "Carmela Full of Wishes". It was their first time seeing a play for many students, and they were amazed at how the show's production worked. Fantastic! #ICSEagles




ICS 4th graders researched and created books about famous people! They even met their fellow authors and shared their information with one another. Nice job students! #ICSEagles

Repairing Together connects peers in K5-8th grades. Students create lifelong relationships, challenge stereotypes, take action together, and develop a framework for empathetic leadership. This week, students learned about lacrosse and played this Indigenous game. #ICSEagles
