Learning Expectations for Students and Additional Support for ICS Families

With our Governor closing all schools for the remainder of the year, we would like you to know that we are here for you! We miss our students very much and would love nothing more than for all of us to be back together again, here at our school. Until that wonderful day comes, we remain committed to our students by continuing remote learning through the rest of the school year (June 10th).

Remote learning is a requirement for all ICS students. We expect every student to complete every activity in each of their remote learning classes, including Specials (Art, Music and Physical Education) and Native Languages. If students are unable to complete the work that was assigned to them, we ask that you reach out to your child’s teacher for help, and please encourage your child to complete their work as soon as they are able to.

If you need support please let us know!  ICS Social Workers, the Family Resource Center, our teachers and interventionists are all here to support students and families. We are calling families each week to stay connected and offering additional support to students. Likewise, you are welcomed and encouraged to reach out to us anytime — you don’t have to wait for us to call you. As we are reaching out to students and families, we will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch meals, learning support, technology support, parent support groups and social/emotional support.
