Oneida Language & Culture Apprentice
Shekóli! I am Oneida and my clan is Turtle. I am an ICS alumnus, which has its perks! I get to work alongside past teachers and connect with the students by telling them stories about my experiences at ICS and their family members whom I attended school with.
In the Spring of 2023, I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with my bachelor's degree in education. During that time, I was able to do my student teaching at ICS, which has helped me reconnect with my culture and it also helped me realize that I wanted to continue to be a part of the school. Since graduating, I've had experience working with children in different settings such as camps and childcare.
Outside of school, I am an auntie to two beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews, whom I love and adore so much. I enjoy spending time with my fiance and my cat Yue. If I'm not with them, I am at my younger brother's sporting events cheering them on.
