Hello my name is Desireé! My Spirit name is Ojibwe Woman and I am Bear Clan. My tribe is the Sokagoan Chippewa community. I'm a proud Anishinaabeg!

I am also a proud Indian Community School alumni. I graduated from ICS in 2012 and went on to graduate from Pius Xi High School in 2016.

This will be my 4th year in education (I was working with early childhood education before coming to ICS), and this is my second year as the Ojibwe Apprentice! I’ve always wanted to be a teacher and I hope to pursue that dream!

I have two beautiful Rottweilers named Stella and Bear. I also enjoy in my free time I love beading, and making music, and creating short stories/poetry too!
