Audra Two Thunders / Bimosay-aanakwad
Our Ways Coordinator

Aanii Bimose-anakwud nindizhinikaaz my name in Anishinaabemowin means Floating Cloud. I am from the Grand Traverse Band on my mother’s side and Turtle Mountain Chippewa/Munsee Delaware on my father’s side. My role at the Indian Community School is to help support language and culture throughout the school.

I actively participate in ceremonies, language classes and continue to work on “Rites of Passage” for our youth. I am a mother of two alumni and two current students. I moved to Milwaukee with the goal of helping the urban Indian population and have stepped up in many roles that deal with education, culture, and other youth leadership programming.

I enjoy sewing, beading, coffee, and spending time with my family.

I have earned my Associates Degree from Bryant and Stratton College in 2018. I serve on different committees within the city of Milwaukee such as, Milwaukee Indian Education Committee, and the MIEC Teaching Lodge.

I am a lifelong learner of language and culture and strive to be a positive role model for our native youth living in the city.
