Our Ways Director
Shekolih swakwek! Tehalihwa’khasyus niyunkyats. I am a member of the Oneida Nation and of the Wolf Clan. My role at the Indian Community School is to ensure that Native culture is interwoven into all facets of the school’s programming.
I am committed to the Oneida language and culture and I participate in Longhouse ceremonies. I have served the Native community as a psychological clinician, supervisor and consultant working closely with local community service providers in addition to VA programs and staff.
I have worked with mental health services alongside of Native spiritual helpers, social services and related programs essential in addressing multiple needs of our community. In addition to my clinical experience, I am a lecturer at the University level and work with schools and community organizations on training and education programs throughout the state.
I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology at Marquette University and are a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Wisconsin. I am a member of Marquette University’s Council on Native American Affairs and a long-standing member of numerous psychology associations and societies.
