Literacy Specialist
As the Literacy Specialist, I work with students and staff to ensure that all students are equipped with the skills necessary to be successful readers and writers.
My education began at Michigan State University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. I joined the ICS community in 2018 and taught fifth grade here for four years before earning my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Reading, and took on the role as Literacy Specialist.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing games, reading, and spending time with my husband and our family.
