Shanda Cherney
Instructional Support
My husband, Mike, and I have been married since 1984. We have three children who cherish the idea of family. We spend a lot of time together laughing, baking, traveling, and playing games.
I completed my degree at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!). I taught 6th grade language arts and 4th grade in Texas. When we moved to Wisconsin, I completed courses to gain my Wisconsin license and began teaching for a Title 1 company, then was hired on at ICS as an Instructional Support Teacher, which is the time I started my Masters Program at Carroll University. Teaching here with all the support we have has been a wonderful experience. The family atmosphere allows all to grow and learn so quickly.
I love my family, moving (it helps keep my closets clean), taking classes, traveling, sports, crafting, genealogy, remodeling homes, and of course TEACHING!
