7th & 8th Grade Teacher: STEM
Hello! I'm very excited to join the ICS Middle School team to teach 7th and 8th grade science. I've come to ICS with a strong background in Environmental Education. Prior to earning my Wisconsin teaching license I worked for over a decade teaching families and school children about science and nature all over the US by getting them outside and exploring wild spaces. I spent this time working with organizations like the National Audubon Society, Northern Illinois University, Milwaukee's Urban Ecology Center and many other organizations and locations.
Most recently I taught 4th grade at an environmentally themed charter school in Saukville, WI. I love nature, films, and games. My family and I can be spotted at State Parks on the weekends or gathered around our dining room table playing games.
I'm very excited by the ICS community and have loved my time here so far.
