6th Grade Teacher: Math and Science
I have been teaching 6th grade at the Indian Community School since 2012. Prior to my time here, I was a teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools. I worked in three different schools during the decade that I spent in MPS and learned a lot from that experience. My motivation to join the Indian Community School staff was my culture. I am an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation and have always wanted to teach in a school that focused on Native American core values. This opportunity to work with our Native youth has been invaluable and I appreciate the chance I have to learn and teach every day.
I am also a part of this community as a parent. My twin daughter and son are current ICS students and we appreciate every day that we spend as a part of the ICS family.
