community words

To support our students’ language learning and to help our community learn our languages along with us, we’ve developed a program called “Community Words” that covers common words and phrases in the four languages that we teach here at our school:  Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Ojibwe and Oneida.  We also developed a handout that you can download and print, and a FREE language App that you can download to your phone or computer.

You are welcome to share this information and to use it in your materials. However, if you use our information, please cite Indian Community School as a source.
