milwaukee magazine spotlights ics, native languages revitalization

Check out the April 2019 issue of Milwaukee Magazine.  Inside its covers you will find a beautiful ten-page spread about Native languages revitalization in Wisconsin.  Indian Community School likewise is spotlighted.  It’s well worth a read.

“When you visit the Indian Community School in Franklin, you can’t help being blown away by the beauty of the place….the spaces inside are vast and full of light. Supporting columns are wrapped in trees from the Menominee reservation.

“The heart of the school’s teaching mission is making kids aware of their Native cultures…[a]t ICS, they learn to value their Native heritage and see how it’s still alive in their hometown and state.”

Pick up a copy from your local grocer and tell all your friends!

It was graduation night for 11 families who participated in eight weeks of FAST. Thanks for your commitment to FAST and your families.

The FAST team had a great time working with you all and celebrating your successful completion of the program. Even Mr. Dropik helped out serving ice cream to families!
