Parents, perhaps you have heard your child(ren) talk about Makerspace? Come try your own hands-on experience during parent-teacher conferences. Find out how to turn play-doh into a keyboard, or play music using a banana. Old books? Let’s see what we can do to make them new!
ICS Makerspaces is NEW and provides students with the opportunity to authentically collaborate, communicate, think critically and create. We would love to have families join in! Hands-on learning will take place with two activities including circuit boards and repurposing old materials. Makerspace is located upstairs in Room 212 (the old K-1 Artroom), during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 24th (closing at 7:30 for clean-up).
