It’s ricing time and our students have been busy! A recent trip to Lac du Flambeau gave some of our ICS families the opportunity to clean Manoomin (wild rice) and gather materials for the Our Ways Canoe Project. Our students pulled roots, split them and wrapped them in small bundles to soak and they cannot wait for the next trip.
