Ojibwe Language and Culture Teacher

I have been teaching Ojibwe to K4 through 8th grade students at Indian Community School for four years.  I have been teaching either the Ojibwe, Odawa, or Potawatomi languages in various capacities and media for nearly a decade. In addition to working at ICS, I also am a consultant on the Potawatomi language for the Pokagon Band.

I am an enrolled member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan and Indiana. I have formerly worked as their Tribal Historic Preservation Officer, Tribal Historian, and lead Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act consultant.
