7th & 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher

I am thrilled to join the Indian Community School as a 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher!

I’m passionate about helping young people find their voices, be positive influences in their communities, learn the lessons of the past and make strong and lasting connections to their cultures for generations to come.

As someone who was born and raised in the shadow of Lambeau Field,  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay in 2013.  I have spent the last six years teaching US History and Government to 7th and 8th-grade students in Door County and Franklin.

I live in Milwaukee and enjoy reading books about the lesser known and untold stories of history to share with my students. I also enjoy traveling, playing board games, and watching my favorite soccer team, the Chicago Red Stars.

Please feel free to reach out to me with questions and concerns at jscott@ics-edu.org or by calling me at (414) 525-6100.
