My name is Michael Zimmerman Jr. and I am also known as “One whose light shines through.” I will be teaching here and I have taught at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I have lived in Milwaukee for 2 years and have been about here and there teaching in Milwaukee. I am from Southwest Michigan, specifically Niles and am enrolled with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. I traveled about to learn my native languages especially Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi. I hope that everything should go well as the young ones are being taught here. I am happy to be teaching them to speak in the near future. Okay, if you all have something to ask of me, go ahead and ask away!
Gimiigwechiwininim gii izhaayeg omaa igo gaye gii agindameg gakina gegoon gii zhibii’amaan.
I thank you all for coming here as well as for reading what I have written.

I hope to see you all again sometime soon.
